Hadn't seen this mentioned lately. The SEC East has been left completely in the dust.

Start pulling your weight, Easterners. We're getting tired of carrying you.

5*

Florida in 08
Bama in 09
Auburn in 10
Bama in 11
Bama in 12
Auburn in 13 if they beat FSU

It isn't even the West, or the SEC anymore. It's the state of Alabama.

Your way of making yourself feel better for losing to Auburn? C'mon, you're better than this.

Leave it to an Alabama fan not to be able to count.

6 conference championships in a row. Six straight times the West beat the East.

Leave it to rantards to make a bad assumption and then ridicule the thread.

5 in a row and I think the SECCG series is still tied 11-11. These things go in cycles you know and the East still has 2 teams in the top 10.

I was tempted to start this thread earlier today.

SEC lEast isn't the same since Florida's decline started. I think Tennessee is finally about to turn it around though.

With Tennessee in such a slump, and UGA the perennial bridesmaids, it's all on Florida. This year, they just sucked.

Mizzou had a great year, taking nothing away, but the East needs to step it up a notch. There was a time that Florida and Tennessee were the best two teams in the league.

Is the OP referring to National Championships or SEC Championships?

IMO, more impressive is the SEC run:
2006-Florida
2007-LSU
2008-Florida
2009-Alabama
2010-Auburn
2011-Alabama
2012-Alabama
and hopefully 2013-Auburn

Obviously the West is a weak section otherwise you'd beat yourselves to a pulp the way we do.

You really could go back to 2003. LSU wins the BCS that year. Auburn goes 14-0 without a BCSCG appearance the next year.
No BCSCG appearance the next year, but strong enough as a conference to send a top 10 team to the Peach.

You've got two teams from the East in the Top Ten ... that's better than any other Conference in America.

The East simply will not lower ourselves to the cheating level of the two Alabama teams ... nor will we kiss B-ham's arse.
