Lets say after this dalliance with another program Bama comes back down to Earth. For the sake of argument, Bama loses 2 or 3 next year. What is the Bama Nation temperature about CNS then. knowing he 1-3 years away from retirement?

Added: Mahlzan goes 11-1 or 10-2, and - gasp! - Les Miles beats Saban.....again.

Not like there's much else to talk about.

...what if Mike busted out of his cage in next year's LSU/Bama game and ATE Saban?

I'm not sure. You guys are used to losing that many games a year. Help us understand how to feel.

Now, that would be memorable.

Might eclipse this year's Iron Bowl.

Maybe.

Thanks for coming over to an LSU board. Your meltdown will be much appreciated.

It's distinctly in the realm of possibilities we lose two or three next year.

Long as they are to good teams like Auburn. An Ole Miss or Arkansas loss wouldn't be received well.

Not Auburn, though. Good likelihood that with everyone coming back, we will be even better.

If he doesn't go to wherever
If he loses 2 or 3 games
If Les Miles beats him
If Malzahn beats him
If Auburn wins 11 games

Lotta if's. And I for one expect a 10-2 type year. New QB, new LT, new MLB. Tough positions to lose all at once.

Dude, the Gump nation won't sleep for a year because of the Iron Bowl loss this year. There's NO WAY they acknowledge Auburn as a good team.

For sure. The Iron Bowl will be the defacto playin game for the SEC championship for the foreseeable future. Two good teams fighting it out.

Sure I did. I said I expect a 10-2 type season; therefore, I wouldn't be mad at all.

Hardly, SEC Defensive Coordinators will have all year to figure CGM out. 2014 will will be a whole different deal for Auburn. As for Bama, I agree there's no way their 1st year QB gets them to the SECW title.
