He is a proven head coach that has won a lot of games and is a good recruiter.

Hell no for several reasons.
A) He cheats and has a five year show cause.
B) His coaching style is way too conservative and close to the vest.
C) His career record against the SEC is horrible.

What needs to be done in order for Tressel to get another coaching gig- or did he burn it completely with the NCAA when he went to the NFL?
For the record, he'd be a scary mofo at a bigtime program. It might have been Big 10 talent, but he made Michigan and Penn St basically disappear.
