3rd behind MJD and D-Will in RB Pass blocking efficiency.
285 pass plays played, 90 pass block snaps, 98.3 Pass Block Efficiency, down only .1 to D-Will.
Who said rookies can't protect the QB?

I've noticed this. He is just an all around good player. His team loves him, his fans love him, and commentators love him..
Sidenote: I have also noticed that Mark Ingram has been excellent in pass protection when he is in the game.

I hope Lacy plays this week and turns his YPC back up. I don't think anyone is going to doubt he is good and suddenly change their mind because his YPC dropped behind a shitty OL, but it'll be the same tune from a few guys if he stays at 3.9, which isn't fair.

Lacy definitely has the most NFL upside of any of the recent RB's at Alabama. Hard runner, good size, quality blocker. Perfect for the NFL game.
It's nice to see that Ingram is finally getting back into form a little. I'm not sure what the deal with Trent is. I think he may have a confidence issue and is having trouble picking up on the offense in Indy. The colts terrible O-line isn't helping things out at all.

Well this is the week to do it since they are playing the Cowboys.
Along with a subpar Oline, Rodgers has been hurt for like 5 games.

It seems like Trent's problem is simple: He doesnt hit the hole fast enough, and his vision is not so great. I think he needs to lose a little weight and practice his quickness from the handoff to the LOS. I'm not sure how he can fix his vision, but I'm sure his RB coach can help him out with that. Hopefully.

Yeah I saw a few of the games over the past 5 weeks and opposing defenses have been definitely stacking the box on him. I guess thats a good thing though. Opposing coaches and defenses respect his abilites enough to have to account for him.

I did see that they said they want him to change how he runs and avoid contact. Losing weight would definitely be an advantage if he isn't absorbing as many hits. As far as hitting the hole, I think you are right, and I think that's where the lack of confidence comes in. I think he stalls a bit instead of powering through the line. Hopefully he comes around. I'd like to see him do well.

Yeah, stacking the box against him will come to a screeching halt when Rodgers gets back in the game.
