I'm trying to be as unbiased as possible, but I think Evans, Kaser, & Johnny (one of the two since Winston is winning the Heisman). Jake IMO isn't deserving.

Good Bull Hunting: Who is your punting hero?
Drew Kaser: My punting hero would probably have to be Shane Lechler. It's pretty cool that I go to the same school that he did and am in competition with a couple of his records here. I also had the privilege of meeting him this season, it's pretty cool whenever you can sit back and talk to your idol and be able to relate to him about so many things.

He definitely had a pretty underwhelming season

I hope Ray Guy finally makes it into the hall of fame this year. If he doesn't make it I doubt Shane ever will but him and Shane have to be the two best ever.

It happens I won't run down any of the kids that won but I feel that several awards were given to the wrong individual.

Yeah think everyone but Johnny was probably deserving of the awards they were up for. Oh well, at least we will have a good punter next year, hope we don't need him.

Disagree. I think most of y'all are looking at this myopically without realizing other guys are pretty damn good too. I don't follow punters and couldn't begin to tell you who deserved it beyond stats. Kaser was good but Hornsey's stats are impressive.
Hornsey: 62 punts, 45.2 ypp, 27 returned, 41.0 net, Long 79 yards
Kaser: 44 punts, 47.4 ypp, 20 returned, 40.7 net, Long 76 yards
Given the raw number of attempts, the better net and while I can't find it, a crazy number of punts inside the 20, he seems pretty deserving.
As far as the others, Cooks put up a ton of stats and was really good the time or two I saw OSU. Not as high profile games as Mike but he's a beast. I bet that was an incredibly close vote all 3 ways. Matthews simply wasn't deserving and saying otherwise is pure homerism. I think he only got an invite because of the hype coming into the season tbh. Don't get me wrong, he is very very good but not like Joeckel last year or anything.
The honest truth about all these awards though, is that team success is a huge factor. If we had played better the last 2 games, we probably would have won a couple.
