FSU being favored over Auburn by about 10 isn't surprising, but you don't take that bet IMO.

Lmao @ Wisconsin favored over South Carolina. Cocks going in dry

Yeah, I'd take Mizzou on that all day long.

Mizzou by at least 10.

I'm actually surprised Georgia is a 9 point favorite.

That's the "they didn't want that bowl" line. It's in remembrance of our Outback Bowl against Iowa some years ago.

I also think it has something to do with the Clowney distractions, which, I personally will be happy to see in the rear view mirror once this bowl is concluded.

I'm also thrilled that we're the early underdog.

I don't get that. Cocks going against a Big 10 team will keep them motivated enough.

Cocks win.

I haven't followed nebraska at all, but I'm shocked we're 9 point favorites, especially with a "new" QB and a crappy defense.

Also, anyone know the biggest line in a BCS game? Everyone knows alabama is going to rape OU, but I'm curious to know where -15 stands among other spreads in the past. You gotta think it's up there.

Their new QB and their defense are crappier, according to some. I haven't watched them at all this year.

They're lucky they didn't lose two more games. The new QB, if he's still there for the bowl, is not good.

I agree. That said, I don't see them stopping yall much either.

It'll be a back and forth type game.

I wouldn't either. Even though I'm sure we're better, you know we're going to be flat as hell since we whooped them last year and just played in jacksonville 2 months ago. Nebraska meanwhile has probably never played there (at least not in a while) and will surely be out for revenge.

Oh, I agree completely. But I was simply explaining what the oddsmakers are seeing. They are seeing a team that, at least earlier in the year, showed some serious deficiencies against the run. A team that may be bored with Florida bowl games. A team with some possible distractions hovering around them. A team with a coach who does not own a great overall bowl record in his career.

Versus a team who is probably the most smash-mouthed team in the B1G.

SCAR underachieved this year by losing to UGA in Athens and UT in Knoxville. There is a reason for those two losses and the oddsmakers are well aware of those reasons.

But I think SCAR will be fine in Orlando. They have a lot to play for ... most importantly, the chance to become one of the few teams in college football history to win 11 games three consecutive seasons.
