Joshua Holsey's Injury

Does anyone know the timetable of his recovery? Is there any hope of him being ready for the Championship game? I think his injury was pretty serious but don't remember exactly what happened. I think he played too much to get any kind of a redshirt so if he's healthy it would certainly help our depth for the game.

I thought he had the option of taking a medical redshirt this year. It was discussed around the time Whitaker decided to take his. Never heard whether Holsey did or not.

He got hurt the Thirs. Before the A&M game. That means he played in four games making him ineligible for a Medical Redshirt.
Torn ACL if I remember right. So that would be a no on the Championship game.

That is a dumb rule IMO. Medical Redshirt should extend to half of the regular season games.

Was watching Gus's PC from yesterday. A reporter asked him about Holsey coming back for the NCG.
Gus said "it's gonna be tough for those guys who've been out for a long period of time" in a way to let you know they won't be back for the game.

I guess the question here is, do we get anyone back that could help with depth before January 6th?

I can't really think of any injuries other than Holsey, Garrett, and Whitaker.
