I don't believe I've ever pulled for an auburn win in my life. But after weighing it all, the SEC mystique is more important to me than any bitterness in our rivalry. Plus your team is just damn fun to see what you'll pull out of your arse next.

Beat the Seminoles. Keep it the the SEC and in the state of Alabama. This is uncharted water for me, and I'll never in my life say War _____, but go do your thing and bring one more back for the conference.

Because Auburn winning a national title does so much for Alabama! Or LSU, or Georgia, or anyone else.

The only SEC school I could see actively cheering for Auburn (as apposed to just not really caring who wins) is Florida.

When that 13 member committee is deciding whether your team is in or out of the elusive #4 spot, you'll be glad the SEC mystique is still in place.

I hate this new idea. I'd be all for it with 8 teams, but turning this over to a committee with "preference to conference champions" is just asking to reduce the SEC's power and invite just conference champs even if they have more losses or poorer schedules.

Won't bother me if Auburn wins. Damn good turn around. LSU fans are scared it will affect their recruiting. Alabama does not possess this fear. Go to work Auburn.

Oh, look. This trite line of bullshite about how it doesn't benefit my team again!

Yeah, it also doesn't exactly hurt either.

And I'm just a fan.

And I have Auburn friends.

So frick you, War Eagle.

Continuing our NC streak sets up all SEC teams for the playoff. Being the #2 in the SEC will be pretty much a guarantee entry for the playoff

Other than my Iron Bowl upset I was predicting all season long? Not at the moment.

Something must be in the water because I believe this will be the first time I've ever rooted for Alabama.

I hope Alabama beats Oklahoma 49-0.

I figure that Alabama's recruiting isn't going to slow down if Oklahoma wins. Alabama winning also will make Auburn look that much more badass.

And the SEC needs to stand up to the media once again. The SEC champion had to back into the championships game. After seven years of domination, that was a slap in the face for Ohio State of all teams to ever potentially keep the SEC champion out of the title game.

I get the added benefit of watching all the Big Ten fans continue to melt down. They've almost given up hope.

Now we see that even bringing in Urban Meyer and turning Ohio State into everything they accuse us of being, still isn't enough to get them back in it.

Doesn't bother me one bit. And not because we beat them. I want the SEC streak intact. We literally killed the BCS and I want it to continue into the playoffs so they know that they can't escape us.

First BCS champ was Tennessee; Auburn can bookend it for the SEC by being the last BCS champ!
