Re-Watching the 4th quarter of the game. He was EVERYWHERE. Made some HUGE plays on DGB et al and laid some monster hits. What a player. That's a grown arse man and, besides Mason, easily my fave player and MVP of the 2nd half of the season. We'll miss him

He basically won the Bama and Mizzou games for us. His 4th down stop on DGB was probably the best defensive play of the entire game

After the White/Josey stuff happened DGB was all in Davis's face and the 2 did not stop mouthing at each other for the next 2 plays. After that Davis just seemed to take it to another level and I don't think DGB had a catch after that. The dude is a baller.

I remember when he committed some local high school writer in northern AL said he was the steal of the class and would be a big time player for AU. We are undefeated when he is on the field

I'm happy for him. I think he's worked his way into the draft, as a respectable pick at that. Davis

He still gets burnt in coverage often. Most of the tackles I've seen him make have been from chasing the receiver down after the catch. But like the rest of our defense he plays lights out when it matters the most.

He does have some bad technique, but he could do well in the NFL starting out on special teams, and being groomed for the position. He shows flashes of great press coverage.
