the BCS will be between two school from the south. No matter what happens, the title stays in Dixie.

What's some positive suff or Bama connections with FSU?

I spent most season preparing to cheer against them. Now it looks like they'll be playing a Ohio State or the Barn. Go Noles.

If a non-SEC team has to win it, Florida State's one of the few I wouldn't mind seeing win. I've always kinda liked them.

In terms of connections... Bobby Bowden's a pretty big one.

Wasn't Bowden a QB at Bama?

FSU's going to lose.

They start too slow. AU will be all over them right from the get go.

Has FSU seen an offense like Auburn's this year? Can they be prepared?

Doubt it. I'm a believer. This SUCKS. But AU's going to win. Prepare yourself.

And if I'm wrong, I'll be happily wrong.

Agreed. There is a 0% chance Auburn loses to FSU. People just need to accept it. Literally every break has gone their way this season and that won't change between now and January.

Only way AU loses is if there are some key injuries to major players (oline, running backs, etc.)

Knowing AU luck, Winston will come down with the plague the week of the game.

Florida St. is the best team in the nation. I'm just glad that Bama isn't the team that will break the SEC's undefeated streak.

FSU can be exposed. Easily. We would beat them handily. AU will do the same. They will not be able to stop the run. Only way they win is in a shoot out.

I am pulling for FSU openly but, I know it's all for naught. AU will steamroll them, maybe worse than they did Mizzou.

First play of the game Jameis Winston will take the snap, trip, and accidentally kick the ball into his own endzone, were an Auburn player having been blocked out of the play will be standing to catch the ball for a touchdown. Expect plays like this to happen at least seven times. That's just how Auburn rolls.

On a serious note, did FSU play Georgia Tech this year? I know their form of the option is a little different than AU's, but at least FSU will know how to keep disciplined and play assignment football from having played in that match-up.

I predict a close game. FSU will have the ball on auburn's 20 with 4 seconds on the clock down by 2. The kick will be perfect. It will be on its way to split the uprights and God will stop the ball like neo stopping bullets. This will be a desirable outcome. It will prove the existence of God and we will be all kumbaya or whatever and there will be peace on earth.

Not sure why you say that...FSU is the only team in the country that's recruited on par with Bama in the last 3-5 years.

FSU actually HAS a defense. Unless Jameis starts playing like a freshmen, it will be a close game.

Jimbo Fisher (HC) was a Nick Saban assistant at LSU from 2000-04.
Rick Trickett, (AHC/OL Coach)was Nick's AHC/OL Coach at LSU in 2000.
Jeremy Pruit (DC) was Bama's Secondary coach from 2010-12.
Sal Sunseri, (DEC) was Bama's ILB Coach from 2009-11.
Jameis Winston is from Hueytown, AL.
As a side note, Dave Hart was AD at FSU and then Bama (graduated from Bama, played BBall for Bama) and had a little to do with both FSU and Bama's during each school's most successful years.

Do I feel FSU can beat AU? Yes. Do I think FSU could beat Bama? No.

I think that a lot of people are going to be surprised by FSU and how badly they beat AU.

Offensively, they are better than Texas A&M, I chose ATm b/c they both have big receivers that are hard to cover. FSU's running game is better. Both have a mobile QB that are also very accurate.

Defensively they are just behind Bama. Jimbo has recruited players that are Bamaesque. They've got shutdown man on man corners so they can stack the box and stop the run. Bama played their C game at best and shouldn't have lost to AU.

ATM lost to them by 4 points. I know, transitive property is just transitive property but if FSU can go into Clemson and win by 37, that's much more impressive to me than a 4 point win over ATM at College Station.
