35-21 will be at least on par with 9-6 if the voters led 2013 Auburn play for the national title.
ETA: 35-21 is better than 9-6 because 2013 Auburn won the SEC West.

Media let Bama in the mulligan bowl when they didn't earn it on the field. Then LSU choked in the biggest joke of a nat champ game of the BCS era.
That's where it comes from. That and the SEC intentionally giving Bama an easy road during bridge scheduling.. for them to lose.. and still get shots at rematches.
