Not sure if this been posted, but here goes...

There's no doubt the SEC Network is going to be a monster cash cow.

The bloggers 3rd paragraph is confusing. Can someone splain it to me?

I took it to mean some teams have a skewed rating (higher) since only their biggest match-ups were averaged in (games carried by major networks).

I wonder if the SEC Network will track ratings? Anyone know?

He's saying the rating of team like Northwestern is artificially inflated because only 5 of their games were picked up by a major network. If their games on the secondary outlets were added in, their overall ranking would be much lower.

The real rankings to look are the conference rankings.

The SEC draws TWICE the viewership of the Pac-12 and roughly 33% more than the B1G.

The SEC Network is going to become a national brand vs. the others being regional. Like the NFL vs. the NHL.

I’m suprised UGA is only 4th TBH. They had quite a few nail bitters (LSU, Clemson, Auburn, Tennessee, GA Tech)

Thanks ESPN! The deal Slive made with them years ago was legit. I wonder how the new SECNetwork is going to impact rating going forward? Isn't it going to be subscription based like the Big10G Network?

So Alabama had 10 of 11 games rated, and averaged over 1.2 million viewers per game more than the 2nd place team....and Jay Jacobs claims Auburn as "America's team". ....are we talking delusional or what?

We've got enough t-shirts from the last couple of years to last us a while.,,,you know the ones that have NATIONAL CHAMPION on them. I'm sure you've cringed at the sight of many of them.

As will Mizzou for me.

PS-I'll bet that 2010 shirt you've been wearing has holes in it by now.

Good to see Missouri's TV markets are tuning in to watch the Tigers drive for Atlanta.

I wonder how far TAMU will fall without JFF. Still an exciting brand of offense, but A&M never jumped out at me as a ratings cow before.
