The last time AU got this lucky

And no it wasn't 2010, it was 1972. There's not a more improbable play to win a game as the 2 punt blocks for a TD than this one after a FG for a TD. Its history repeating itself. Really weird and both favoring the same team. Bama's never won on a fluke play like that over Auburn. But the best thing about that game in 1972 was right afterwards Bama going on a 9 game winning streak over AU. I'm glad history repeats.

There were 3 kicks blocked that day by Auburn.

Alabama was on an unbelievable run, beat UT and LSU 11 years in a row. Bear blew the bowl game a lot, but he did dominate the SEC.

Also those were the Doug Barfield years.

Lulz at 'fluke.'

Our coaches made a better decision at the end of the game and our players outran the fatass Bama players on the field. Outcome would be expected.
