Nick the prick KNOWS he has the best players in the country. His mantra even at LSU was "win your individual battle" or "dominate your opponent for 60 minutes" or whatever.... When you don't win more than you lose w the battles over the course of a game your team generally loses. Ala. pretty much had Auburn's number with the one exception of the kicking game. So it didn't surprise me one bit when he threw his kicker(s) under the proverbial bus. The kicker(s) didn't get 'er done. Irony of it all is Saban screwed up the kicking game on the last 3 possessions: should have put the last kicker in the previous attempted field goal that was blocked and then should have kicked the shorter field goal instead of failing on 4th down run and then tyring the 60 yarder that cost him the game. That's a trifecta that brought a smile to my face. Greatest coach ever? Please..... Maybe greatest recruiter ever but that's it! Miles is a better coach than Saban and quickly catching up to Saint Nick on the recruiting trail. When the players don't perform well the coach has to make something positive happen. Miles does that better than anyone.

You seem to have left out of your post the part where he said "I take full responsibility for this loss".

I forgive you.

Congrats on your Iron Bowl victory. Do you think LSU will have enough offense without Mett to beat Mizzou this weekend?

The part where he refused to give Auburn or Gus any credit whatsoever was a good laugh

Low class and showing arse IMO.

But if your ego is at an all-time high, it's tough to give credit where credit is due...

Disagree-
Should be: Bama did not have their number, especially the kicking game.

I expected the LSU fans to be amazed at his grace and humility in defeat, and start hundreds of threads about how he is the greatest coach in football in a saintly human being.

At least we can understand what Saban is saying when he supposedly throws his players under the bus.

I guess you forget Miles throwing the players under the bus in New Orleans. He basically tea bagged them.

And yet CNS will take our 5 stars and average 12 wins a season.

Have the number of IB threads started by LSU folks surpassed the number started by the Aubs yet? It's gotta be getting close.
