Should AU lose Saturday it'll be a second tier bowl for them.....unless they face Alabama in the Sugar.

Even if we lose to SMU, we still win the American unless Cincy beats Louisville. Then we share it with Cincy. If we beat SMU it doesn't matter.

No they're still at-large only. UCF/Cincy would be an AQ spot. Cincy gets the bid if they beat Louisville and SMU beats UCF. Otherwise it's still UCF.
