Is the SEC Championship the last game for Verne and Gary?

I remember a little while ago someone on here mentioned that Verne's contract was up at the end of this season and that he would retire. Also there was talk that Tim Brando was lobbying hard for Verne's job. I would imagine that if Verne left, they would maybe replace Gary as well. Any new developments regarding this?

Gary can go, but Verne needs to stay. Don't get the hate for him. Same people probably hate Jim Ross.

I don't mind Gary Danielson. He gets annoying but he calls what is going to happen so many times it is unbelievable. Also, I think it is hilarious when he draws up how every pass should have gone for a TD

Gary struggles at times because he's trying to correct Verne the whole time.

I think Verne is near the end, but I would really like to see CBS go after someone else. I don't mind Danielson, but I preferred Blackledge when he was on CBS.

I'm hoping it is for Verne for sure. I can't stand Brando but he rustles incomprehensible amounts of row tahd jimmies so he would be worth it just for the laughs.

Ive noticed this, but even though its annoying I'd hate to see him go to ESPN and play second fiddle to Kirk

The team that called our Outback Bowl last year ... Mike Tirico and John Gruden, they make an excellent team. Wouldn't mind seeing those two get the SECCG.

I don't get the hate either. Yes they say ridiculous stuff sometimes but I overall like them.
