Better than having the flu for finals.

Holy shite, that must have sucked.
I actually don't feel all that bad right now, but I felt like total death when I woke up yesterday. Cough, 100.4 fever, and my head felt like it was about to explode. I took some ibuprofen, sinus meds, and took a long hot shower and it cleared my head up enough to where I felt somewhat decent.
Still have the cough and fever, but it was down to 99.1 at the doctor's this morning and my head doesn't feel nearly as shitty as it did.
I don't feel great, but as bad as everyone makes the flu seem, I feel like I'm getting off lucky. I've had sinus infections worse than this and I've felt much worse back when I used to catch strep every year.

I get bad sinus infections where my head feels like its being crushed and my eyes and teeth hurt. I need to get a sinus drain done.

That is how I felt yesterday morning. Plus a nice fever. Once I was able to clear that out I've felt fairly decent.
I can deal with a cough, being fatigued, and a mild fever, but that sinus pressure is just brutal...

Try a Neti Pot. It really works. Just make sure to use distilled water to reduce the chance of getting a brain eating bacteria.
