End of the regular season, do you consider your season a success or failure?

For SC it is kind of difficult. We failed in our main objectives which would be winning the East which would ultimately give us the shot to win the SEC outright.
But with that said we accomplished a lot of first.
1st 5 game win streak over Clemson
Longest home win streak in school history
Shaw became the winningest QB in school history
Scored 3 wins over top 15 teams in the AP poll
3rd straight 10+ win season after only having one from 1892-2010 (1984)
And although we will lose some serious experience, we'll only be losing a handful of starters from this season so I'd like to think the future is bright.
Obviously regardless of the outcome of the SECCG both AU and Mizzou excelled even their fan bases expectations. I think A&M, UGA, LSU, and especially UF fans would all say they had a serious let down. But what about the OM, MSUs, and Vandys of the world.
So how would you rate your team's season? Success? Failure? Somewhere in between?

Lost one game? Definitely a success, even if the end was disappointing.

We hired a better coach than Kentucky so I'm gonna say success.

Failure.
However, the fact that 8-4 with the potential for 9-4 is a failure (when it gave Mike Sherman a raise and kept Franchione from being fired) is, in and of itself, a success.

i had expected 10-2, so 9-3 isn't a massive letdown. The Ole Miss game was really the only thing that left a really bad taste in my mouth.

Obviously a gutwrenching end to the season, but I certainly can't complain about the success of the team.

Success and I don't care if Bama lost to Auburn. Fifteen years ago I would have killed for a 11-1 season and a BCS bid.
