For all you haters out there, he's gonna be in Athens as long as he's married to Dooley's daughter.

Bobo is a very conservative OC (sometimes TOO conservative, I'll admit), but he's developed into a solid OC over the past few seasons. Give Bobo and our O mediocre defensive support and we're 10-2/11-1 this year, even with all the injuries. That's a pretty damn fine job. I used to be very critical of him, but if he took a HC job this offseason then I'd be sad to see him go.

I don't consider myself to be a Bobo "hater" but I am far from a huge fan. What exactly has he done to endear himself to you?

He has gotten better every season he's been the oc. He's called some really really strong games. We put up tons of yards and lots of points.

He has put up record offensive numbers despite losing every off skill player for at least 1 game this year. He has put up consistently top off numbers despite working with an average at best, and completely inconsistent, OL.

I didn't know Dooley had a daughter. I thought Dereck was the only child.

He isn't married to any child of Dooley. I don't remember who the family is, but I have heard it is loaded so money may not be the end all be all when decision time comes.

Bobo has definitely improved. But he always has his one or ten "Bobos" a game.

With every injury this year to the offense and A shitty defense we are 2 fluke plays ( Auburn tip drill and the Vandy targetting call) away from 10-2. I fail to see what more Bobo could have done with 2RBs that would normally never see the field and down to your 5-9 WR. This should have been a UF type season but our offense prevented that from happening and to be honest when we go conservative I have a feeling that's not Bobo.

Bobo is our next HC unless something significant happens with him, the team, or the AD. You can be as upset about it as you want.

When Gurley leaves we will go back to 6 or more losses a year and none of these coaches will be around. booboo will never be a HC of any major college team. He will be a HC of a high school team.

I have gone from completely sour on him, to at least medium warm. Sure he has had talent, but don't we want that, sure he screws the pooch sometimes and tries to out think the oppostion, but what the hell.
D and special teams are much, much bigger problem.
Note that Barners has a special team coach.
