I asked the question and have always said Alabama is my 2nd favorite SEC team.

But I think this would be truly gut wrenching to see play out

Oklahoma State lost to WVU, no way they jump Bama. If the voters wanted them to have a better shot, they'd be over Bama right now. It'd be stupid to just put them over Bama now.

Michigan State's computer rankings aren't that good, are they?

Missouri would get a big boost for beating Auburn, so probably them.

Mizzou. There isn't really any other team in that scenario if you look at the BCS point system.

Mizzou will be too high in computers. Computers hate Bama right now because they play such a weak arse schedule.

Would be a travesty if Mizzou got slighted in favor of Bama.

Auburn won't want this after the game.

I don't think anyone that was able to pull off a great upset would like the idea of having to repeat it. A losing team gets a double elimination scenario, while the winning team only gets winner take all. I am sure Bama fans wouldn't be pleased in that scenario as the winning underdog team either.
