Will make it to the BCS Championship game if Ohio state and FSU win on Mike & Mike.

Said he made a mistake last night and looked at the computer rankings this morning.

Maybe 5% of AU fans expect/think OSU should be jumped. The rest of us know it'll take a loss in front.

OSU/FSU will be a terrible game, but it is what it is. Winston will have a field day with absolutely zero pressure on him.

Can someone who isn't an Auburn fan break down Auburn's schedule this year for me:

To me, Bama is far and away the best win either team has. I fully admit that

Wisky/Iowa to me are comparable to A&M/UGA for me. UGA healthy is better than those teams, but they were far from healthy in that game.

After that, there really aren't any other big wins that I see on the schedule for either team.

Then Auburn has a loss to an LSU team who admittedly is not as good as some of their teams in the past decade. A top 15-20 squad, but not their usual top 10 self

Is this accurate? I get the SEC is good, but the east is pretty bad this year with UGA and UF being down.

Shame that Ohio St. might make it
Both Mizzou & Auburn seasons are more worthy so far

FSU beats all 3 teams, but just kills Ohio St. though
Bama's best game was FSU's only poison
But FSU could blow up like Bama did, ya never know

I think OSU should be jumped. But I don't expect it, and I also am not enraged at the prospect that they won't be.

They're undefeated, they did everything they could really do. Would they get slaughtered by AU/Mizzou? Probably. But after 2004, I'm probably not going to get too worked up about it.

I will get worked up about the Big 10 homer types bashing Auburn to reinforce OSU, but OSU itself didn't do anything wrong.

Said it on the OTB

quote:

I've run numbers the last 2 days....all sort of scenarios

As long as AU wins they jump over tOSU in any scenario of both winning UNLESS the voters get retarded and put tOSU all at #1 to offset SOS

AU is only separated by .027 and 2 computer polls already have them at 1, not a single one has tOSU at 1 and the Buckeyes will have beaten the #10 team and an UNRANKED team while AU will have beaten the #1 and #5 teams. As long as AU wins they are in the CG and the BCS haters will squeal but the SOS of AU is too strong

All that being said I could see ESPN/BCS pulling some shite to keep an undefeated tOSU in but from what I was plugging in all I got was AU jumping because of SOS

What's meant to be will BE. Nothing to worry about. After all, it IS a MNC! We are STATE champs for a year. I will take it

A&M and UGA would both beat the Hawks by at least two touchdowns on a neutral field, IMO. Badgers might give A&M a game with their rushing attack, but I'd expect A&M to win the game.

Far, far, far, far and away. Bama was a juggernaut, and we won. Ohio State's best win is against I don't even know.

Not true. UGA was very healthy against us. Gurley was back, and their defense was just fine. They certainly were much healthier than when they played Missouri.

A&M is much better than Wisconsin though A&M has no defense, so maybe Wisconsin could keep it close for a while. Manziel would have a 500 yard day against their defense.

We've gotten better each week. The LSU loss was tough, but if you go back and look at the tape, we blew it in the first quarter. We let a good team go up 14-0 on their home field. We didn't let the game get away from us though. I truly believe if we hadn't dropped that punt, the game would have gone down to the wire. But again, we've progressed each week. I don't believe LSU has.

Ole Miss was a quality win. Our OOC game was against a bowl eligible Wash State team. Ohio State played Buffalo.

Miss State is rough around the edges, but they played LSU, Bama, and Auburn close.

Agreed 808 tOSU would be a 3-4 loss team with AU's schedule

I think they can jump them if they win big enough in the SEC champ.

College FB is big business. If the game is FSU/Ohio State, then the entire SEC needs to boycott the broadcast.

If the ratings are severely hurt, it will send a message.

We lost a game, rain or no rain.... If OSU wins they are in.....
It would be un-American for an undefeated team from an AQ conference not to go. (JJ your comment was so stupid)

This is not 2004 (we should have gone)...

That is appreciated, believe me! However, I don't know if I would say we were far from healthy. We were missing two receivers and Keith Marshall, our #2 running back. That was about all...and every team has injuries at this time of year.

Basically, I don't think we can use injuries as an excuse.
