Q1. Over the years it always seems like LSU is the more talented team but Ark plays us better than expected. From your point of view does it seem like no matter the talent/records disparity that you play LSU tougher than you play other SEC teams?

Q2. If yes to the above do you think the timing of the game (after Thanksgiving) has helped?

C. You guys were surprisingly physical for a winless in conference team on Friday. LSU didn't deserve to win that game. If Bret can recruit, look out.

Even when Arkansas sucks the game is close so yes.

The timing does play a role to me. It is the last game and often on Friday when everyone is watching. Weekday games are crazy.

How many times do we have to say it?

We will not be your rival.

The games have been close because Miles is your coach. A good coach would blow us out every year, see Saban.

Lay off The Hat, man.
I don't see a lot of LSU fans trashing your coach, whose SEC record at Arkansas is an astonishing 0.00%.

Good luck to you piggies, next year, I hope you can pick up a few W's and give your players a well-deserved taste of how it feels to win.

Saban didn't play Ark well in 00, 01, or 02 but handled business in 03 and 04. It seems the phenomenon outlined in the OP predates Miles.

Selective memory. What about 00, 01, and 02?

We play y'all tougher for two reasons: we tend to get better as the season progresses (happened under Nutt, Petrino and Bert) and we take the "rivalry" more seriously than LSU does. We consider it a big showdown while you guys consider it just another game.

I think so, probably because of what I said above. We tend to get better as the season progresses and are helped by the fact it's the last game of the year. Plus, more often than not you are playing for something of significance and we can use that as motivation.

Arkansas is obsessed with LSU and it shows when they play, much like LSU is obsessed with A&M and it shows when we play.

This is the game I always attend because I go with Arkansas friends. I can say for fact that the phenomenon predates Miles. Saban struggled there as well.

Lsu was a diaper fire in the 90s, Saban was having to build something out of nothing.

Are you stoned. Everyone minus a select few have bashed him and his wife, which I think is extreamly distasteful, every since he's been here.
