Mr Bramblett has proven a fine successor to Mr Fyffe

The last 2 games has proven that beyond a doubt.
His calls from the UGA game and the Iron Bowl will be listened upon with hair raising chills when our children are grandparents. They were that good. He is on the 'big stage' now and he should be proud. I know we all are!
War Eagle Mr Bramblett! You have brought many tears to many eyes in the last month.

Rod has done a good job; however, the UGA game is the best yet.

He had a rough start back in '03, did a serviceable job in '04-'08, but really started to hit his stride in '09.
He's been the beneficiary of some of the most exciting moments in AU history these past two weeks, and he's nailed them.
And major props to Stan. His insights into the game have really improved as he's gotten more comfortable behind the mic. We are blessed with a solid broadcast team who clearly enjoy what they do, and get excited about AU doing well.
Meanwhile, the Bama network call of the return was classic Eli Gold. I bet no one listening to him knew what the hell was going on.

Listening to Stan in the background ( I think it was him?) go "Oh my GOD" when he realized at about the 40 yard line what was happening was one of te nest moment in thosefew minutes

If you watched the video of everyone in the press box going nuts, including Stan, it was amazing how Rod was able to keep what little composure he had left.

Is there a link to Eli Gold's commentary of the kick return?

"Well.. Auburn is going to win the ballgame."
In the most monotone voice ever. I was still too numb from the win to laugh when I listened shortly thereafter but looking back from what i remember ot makes me laugh.
That said, the greatest personal victory this yearfor me was muting CBS then syncing a Tunein Radio stationcarrying the game up with the TV. MUCH more enjoyable to listen to Rod and Stan
