It's time to make football just a game. All the wins count for nothing if nights like tonight are going to eat me up so. Please, State, Miss, Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennessee, fans, share your secrets. I need closure.

You know what I did after we lost the Ole Miss game?
I went home, got on the roof and cleaned my gutters. Drunk as frick. I'm lucky I didn't die.
But the loss went away, and I knocked out some constructive shite. I had some good music playing on my headphones as well.

All jokes aside, I had to come to the realization football was just a game after 1/9. I'm nowhere near the way I was since then

Me and my dog went on an hour long walk that night. I was listening to country music on itunes.
That's how I deal with tough losses, because my dog don't give a shite. Just wants to go walking.

OP should cut out the middle man and just have sex with his dog. Probably need to get the dog drunk first though.

No ones that I know of, but he's not a Bama fan. Had Air Force as his team for a long time. He just trolls.

It's really just a game. Then losses hurt us too, but we're just used to them.

I remember in 2009 being very rude to my wife after an Ole Miss loss. It was then and there that I started really trying to emotionally detach myself as a fan. People in general are too important to let a game affect my treatment of them, much less my family.
If I post a meltdown thread, it's always tongue in cheek. I just like to have fun on the board. I can guarantee you I haven't lost sleep due to a football game in a few years now and it's better that way.
