Could Alabama Get a Rose Bowl Invite?

Assuming Ohio State wins the B1G and plays in the BCSCG, think the Rose Bowl would give Bama the at large spot to play Stanford/Arizona State? This is my biggest hope. I just have a feeling if Alabama ended up in the Sugar(if the SECC plays for the NC) or Orange they would play some shitty non-AQ team. DO NOT WANT.

Not necessarily. If Michigan State loses, they are probably headed to one of the Florida New Years Day Bowls. And the only two SECCG losers to go to the Sugar were 08' Alabama and 09' Florida because the winner went to the BCS Title game and there were no better selections for the Sugar in those years.

Technically, yes, but the Orange will pick first, and Alabama will be the highest ranked team available to them.

The Sugar...a shitty AQ team in UCF. The Orange, probably an AQ conference runner up like Baylor.
Bama could get a Rose invite, but I don't foresee lots of Bama fans making that trip.

If AU wins they go to the Sugar, correct? So Orange is the best realistic option for us. Idk why the Rose would take us.

Unless they go to the BCSCG. I think the Orange is a certainty, based on the order the bowls pick in. And it would be the best for us...playing UCF would suck.

They'd never willingly take a non-Big Ten/Pac 12 team.

No... Michigan State will only have 2 losses. They're pretty much in the Rose Bowl regardless of what happens Saturday
