Anyways TIFWIW & I'll be curious to see if it happens but big booster dude I know & he's usually spot on told me today that Lakatos is leaving due to "family/health" issues. Will be announced by Tues. Grantham stays...

I've read the same thing about Lakatos elsewhere as well.

Neither Stafford or Jordan Jenkins were consensus 5* coming out. Both may have had an agency calling them 5* but pretty sure I remember them both being 4* by most agencies.
I want to say that even AJ was a 4* by most of the rating agencies and Julio was considered the only 5* WR recruit by all agencies that year.

Lakatos was a failed experiment...We need a new secondary coach and we need to recruit a different breed of secondary players...These receivers seem to be getting taller and more athletic..

Problem with Theus is lack of motivation. Doesn't consistently bring high effort.
Maybe he'll start taking things more seriously next year if he's got any hopes for the big league.

Brandon Miller was more of a case of the coaches just didn't know where they should play him. Same thing with RSIV. He should've been a linebacker from day one. Branden Smith just sucked. But honesyly I blame the terrible coaching on all of the improper handling of the many talented players that have come through here the last 13 years.

We need a new defensive staff. They all suck. Chris Wilson is no better than CRG. He just has more depth to work with.
