Looking like either Nashville or Memphis. Hopefully we can get to Nashville, Memphis against a C-USA team would be a disappointment. Anyone have any insight on what its looking like for us?

According to Ross Bjork we were going to either the Music city or Gator bowl last week depending on if we beat State or not and we lost so I would say be prepared for the Music City bowl.

I've been wanting to ask this as well.

I see music city. I just don't see who would get music city over us and send us to Memphis. Would it be Vandy that could?

Buddy of mine at Vandy said the school threw a fit last year when they were chosen for Music city so they don't think they'll get that again.

From all the expert picks for them I bet they will go to the Liberty ... also the Music city won't want them back because they know we will bring a bigger crowd

Not sure, but I don't think Music City would take Vandy over us, maybe UGA if they fell...? I just hope we get Music City against a team like VT, GT, or UNC. Playing in Memphis would be a let down though

I thought they got 3 years of probation and only 1 year of bowl-ban?

Is there any chance Gator picks Vandy instead of Georgia, or is it a foregone conclusion that UGA goes to Gator and Music City skips over Vandy? I know I wouldn't pick Vandy if I was the Gator Bowl.

The Gator doesnt want Vandy... Not after that debacle last year where tickets were being sold for 50 cents on StubHub a week before kickoff.

Its a possibility... especially with Murry out for UGA. I just don't see Gator taking Vandy, leaving them with UGA by default. And there is no way Music City will take Vandy over us... Unless some serious politicking goes into it at least...

I believe the Liberty pays more money and it's not always a CUSA team. They also have the Big 12 as a partner.

based on my past experiences with bowl reps(other than the dick-riders looking to get cash in on connections) and what I've heard over the past two weeks, we were a lock for Music City win or lose against MSU.

so as far as this season goes, it didn't make one damned bit of difference what happened in that game.

OMG. Letting State win, getting bragging rights for a year, 15 practices and a bowl game does mean anything? Get the heck out of here!

A descriptor like "as far as this season goes" certainly means something more than a bowl bid bitches.
