Is Mizzou a better program than USC?

They sure seem to think so. The reason I ask is, I keep seeing Mizzou posters say "We're doing something in our 2nd year (win the East) that took youse guys (USC) 20 years!"
If Mizzou is supposed to be a superior program then why are they comparing themselves to USC? Is it because they know they can't say the same to a Florida or Georgia fan?
Missouri came into the SEC with high hopes (referrence TJ Moe or Sheldon"old man football" Richardson) and fell flat on their faces, getting embarrassed week after week. Now that they actually have found some success, they obsess over another team's accomplishments. What gives?

Our history is terrible, I would sure hope for their sake they aren't worse than us.

Too soon to tell. Right now, probably not. USC has had sustained, decent SEC success for a few years.
But Mizzou may soon prove the better program, you can't ignore that USC wallowed in poor football for decades.

Yes. They have a better all-time winning percentage, more than twice as many bowl wins, a lot more conference titles, etc....

ITT: People don't realize OP is saying our history sucks, why does Missouri try and make themselves feel better about losing to us using Tennessee and Florida's accomplishments?

look it up you fricks, mizzou is.545 all time. just a red count hair ahead of usc. additionally, Carolina has played in the sec for 20 years and mizzou in the what the frick ever conference. I call bullshite on mizzou being better. as of lately Carolina , without a doubt has been the better program so frick off you douche nozzles
