How many times can Kentucky sleepwalk tho?

Pretty sure they may just be a touch overrated at this point.

They sleep walked through the Michigan State game and only lost by 4.

If they play up to their potential, nobody will touch them this year.

I take it nugget has not watch the game.

UK has turned the ball over a bunch…the refs have called a bunch of fouls.

Randle has been on the bench with 2 fouls all 1st half.

Well sure, but for the 2nd game in a row there appears to be a less-than-dominant performance vs. subpar competition.

They had a lot of "potential" last year too.

It's too early of any kind of indictment, but I don't think Kansas, Okie St. etc would be derping around this hard with bad teams. Maybe it's just a focus thing IDK. I'm sure they'll be fine in the long-run.

North Carolina lost to Belmont, Duke struggled with Vermont, etc. It happens. The road gets significantly more difficult in December though so we'll see what's up then.

A lot of bad teams are undefeated right now IMO. Eastern Michigan is not good.

Again, I'm not hating on Kentucky. All I said is for the 2nd game in a row there has been a "less-than-stellar" performance based on the expectations... is that unfair?

ETA: I suppose my expectations for Kentucky are bit high? I'll defer to the UK fans ITT. If that's the case I'll adjust them accordingly

Randle was on the bench most of the 2cd half with fouls.

And people are apparently a little skewed on end of the year expectations and early season performance. And yes, that includes some UK folks.

That makes sense.

I suppose Calipari teams have potential to play down to the competition a bit due to their defensive-minded approach (similar to Mich St). There a few teams that come to mind like UNC that are usually so offensively high-powered that inferior teams just can't keep up. The blowouts are more-frequent.

They've also played some teams who have decided they'll take their chances with being aggressive (and fouling early) to stay in the game. With the foul calls there's little to no offense momentum.
