Who wins this game? To me South Carolina has had a quietly solid season, but I don't think I have watched more than a couple of quarters of them the whole year.

I'm leaning towards Clemson winning this game even though South Carolina is at home favored by 6. Predictions?

South Carolina because of home field advantage

South Carolina easily.

Home field. Rivalry game. Working towards getting better to compete in the SECCG if Missouri loses.

Clemson also sucks. Florida State whipped Clemson's arse all over the field, and it's going to happen again on Saturday.

Very true, they looked terrible against FSU and haven't played anybody else other than Georgia. However, the Clemson / Georgia and South Carolina / Georgia games are giving me pause.

And somehow SC lost to UT.

Our worst game of the season and they still needed a miracle throw to kick the FG.

Shaw is a different player on the road, as much as I hate to say it.

We played @Athens, where Clemson had them at home. Again, Shaw is worse on the road.

You're right, he's a guy who can bring ya back down 17 in the 4th quarter & eventually win the game on the road.

It feels similar to the last few years to me. Clemson looking good coming in, high ranking, flashy offense. Loss to best team they played, and a bunch of blowouts over inferior opponents.

We come in winning ugly and our usual wtf loss, 9-2, top 15 ranking. Play a possession style offense and are at times hard to watch.

The last few years Clemson hasn't been able to handle our D. Boyd is traditionally awful in this game. And we dominate TOP. Not as confident in our secondary this year, but also don't think their O is as good as last year without Ellington and Hopkins.

I think the dline will be all over tajh, and the ground game of Davis,Shaw and a healthy Wilds will be the difference, as well as home field. Shaw has never lost at home.

I have a biased opinion, but I think SCAR wins this one the same way they have won the last 4 years.

We will try to play keep away by running Davis, Shaw, and Wilds. Dominating the TOP

If the D-Line gets pressure on Boyd this game will have the same score as the past few years.

That and our second level defense has gotten WAY better. After those 1st few games I looked down the road and thought "Clemson's offense is going to torch us." Now Clemson still has a good offense but our passing defense is certainly better than it was vs UGA.

I was actually about to post the same thing. He had a pretty impressive quarter in Columbia, MO, but maybe the "Columia" part made him feel at home.

If Shaw is at qb, I take SC in this one all day. He doesnt get enough recognition in my opinion.

South Carolina by a lot.

Against teams with 7 or more wins:

beat Georgia 38-35
beat Boston College 24-14
lost to Florida State 51-14
beat Georgia Tech 55-31

They are allowing 32.75 ppg and scoring 32.75 ppg

Not good.

South Carolina runs the ball down Clemson's throat with a combination of Connor Shaw, Mike Davis, a (finally) healthy Brandon Wilds and Pharoh Cooper.

Clemson's offense stands idly by on the sidelines like they have the last 4 games

We're sort of proud of Pharaoh right now ... he definitely has potential, that's for sure.

And yeah, honestly, it's a vicious rivalry game filled full of hatred and vitriol and no doubt someone will die during or after the game as is tradition ... but I'll be disappointed if we fail to win by 2 TDs or more. We're simply the bigger stronger faster deeper football program, plus we have SEC pride.

Both have struggled against inferior teams. Its really a coin flip that I struggled with in ESPN pick em. I finally had to go with Clemson but put them at the lowest confidence level.
