How does this shake out?

Who goes first, and in what order will the elite SEC QBs in this class get taken. Overall I think Derrek Carr goes off the board first, followed by Bridgewater.

As far as SEC guys, who ya got and in what order?

Someone has to set him up to be a bust.

1) JFF
2a) AJ
2b) Mett
4) Murray

Murray shoulda declared last year. Coming back and tearing his knee up is really going to hurt him.

As said earlier, someone will grab Johnny up early due to his ceiling.

I, however, and I may be in the minority here, think some team will take a flyer on AJ and reach for him in the late first round. His measurables aren't off the chart and his ceiling isn't what Bridgewater, Boyd, etc are, but he has that innate ability to win. And I think that'll make a team reach for him earlier than is expected at this juncture.

Mett
McCarron
Murray

Wildcard - JFF - could go 1st of the four or last. I think JFF is going to be a huge bust in the NFL. I don't think any of the four are going to have great careers.

There is a long list of "winners" at the QB position that didn't do jack in the pros. In fact, I would wager that the majority of starting QBs in the NFL right now were not winners at the college level anywhere near McCarron. Just off the top of my head over the last few years:

Vince Young, Colt McCoy, Jamarcus Russell, Sam Bradford, Tim Tebow, McElroy etc. haven't done much if anything in the pros.

Agree that Mett goes first. Measurables are off the chart. He'll tear it at at the combines and "experts" like danielson are creaming all over him.

I think Carr would refuse to go to Houston if they did draft him. He holds them responsible for his brothers sucky career.

I really liked what I saw from Mett this past week. Those were some pretty terrible weather conditions and Mett looked like a pro out there. If you put a gun to my head and asked me to pick one of those 4 for my NFL QB for the next 10 years I'd probably take Mett first.

McCarron is the first SEC QB taken due to measurables alone.

Why Murray is under they gonna add 3inch extensions to his bones and he will go first and be one the best to play the game. Its all been planned.

Falcons will not pick a QB.

McCarron is probably the most game ready, but Mett has the most upside.

Manziel is electric.

Murray coming off surgery and does not have prototypicsl size, but neither does Brees.

My guess:
1. Manziel
2. MCCarron
3. Mett
4. Murray

Murray is gonna be a deal for someone. Lots will stay away due to injury. I hope the Saints pick him up in a steal!

I think JFF goes first out of the SEC QBs. Someone will flip out over the game tapes and take him early in Rd !, unless he does something else dumb.

Mett is next based on arm strength and size. He has more NFL upside than AJ or Murray. Not saying he's the better college QB, just more NFL potential.

There ain't no way any NFL team would be stupid enough to draft Manziel first round. Unless you're the Oakland Raiders....which that wouldn't surprise me.

Manziel is the only one that has a chance at being a franchise QB. I think he's worth a shot in the first. The rest of them should probably go in the late 2nd or 3rd.
