Bama gives up over 4 ypc on first down runs.

Bama has not faced a top 25 rushing team all year.

Auburn is #2 in the country in rushing.

My reasons.

It is a rivalry game in Auburn.

We have electric play makers.

DL is 2 deep, huge play making ability.

auburn may win, but unless you suddenly become incredibly more balanced, you might want to prepare for us in a run defense on first down.

My reasons for expecting Auburn to win...

It is at Home and that is a huge advantage in the SEC (See LSU for an clear example of thie).

Auburn wants it more

Why Bama will win
Deeper at every position, better at most positions...

Go on.

What happens to rushing offenses after first down?

This will be by far the most intense environment Bama will play in this season also...I still believe Bama wins but there are plenty of reasons I could see Auburn pulling the upset

Wouldn't read too much into stats for this game. Fact is, most of Bama's games were early blowouts while Auburn's were close. That effects the play calling and which players are in the game.

Our players want it more

Our coaches want it more

Our fans want it more

We are at home and it will be rockin'

We can score on anyone

Our defense is good enough to hold em' in crucial situations

Gus has the magic

Auburn gets 34 yds rushing more a game than Bama in SEC play.

Bama holds teams to 80 yds rushing less a game than Auburn in SEC play.

Odds are that Bama will outrush Auburn come Saturday.

auburn has one advantage that has to be acknowledged. If the game is hanging in the balance deep into the 4th quarter, and one team HAS to make the drive to win, we haven't been in a game like that.

I'm not the least bit concerned about the environment, or select stats. I am concerned about the fact that auburn has had their backs against the wall more than once, and we haven't.

So we just need to win by 3 or 4 touchdowns and make that a moot point.

Auburn gets 4 holding calls & 3 PI calls on defense, and bama might get one. Got to overcome that, and you'll be fine.

Your defense blows. Your passing game blows. AU is literally one dimensional.

Nick Marshall's SEC stats are better than AJ's.

That's why Auburn is 30th in the nation in points per game allowed.
