At least we aren't Florida:

Lost with a dead guy at the 1 and blocking their own team.

If I was a UF fan, I can't imagine how I'd feel if Muschamp doesn't get fired. I get the injury thing but they were a clusterfrick before the injuries. And their biggest rival UGA has been hit far harder and hasn't soiled themselves weekly.

Too bad we can't flip any Florida recruits.

you know, that's actually what I said to the Ag sitting next to me at the game.

Well, the exact words were, "Hey, it could have been worse, Florida lost to Georgia Southern."

It looks like the lineman (72?) was sealing off GSU's #7 like he was supposed to, then the UF receiver came in and was supposed to pick up the safety (#38) but instead helped UF's #74 with #7 and then once he was engaged and in close range, just hit the next person over (UF's #72) assuming it was a GSU player.

No kidding. Watch that Florida player doing his best to get to the ball carrier. It's hard to imagine an A&M guy playing that kind of defense....

Sorry, sorry, it was low-hanging fruit. Forgive me?

I'm legitimately interested to see how A&M transitions to a more defensive-oriented pro-style system once Manziel is gone, since Sumlin hasn't yet had a true pro-style QB like Allen, at least not as HC (he coached Bradford at OU, right?)

The defensive talent and quarterback talent are legit; I'm guessing a lot of the nail-biting right now comes down to the WRs still left on the board.

The best offense is a good defense?

I'm looking forward to the transition. The early unexpected success of JFF jumpstarted our recruiting, but the plan all along was to become a prototypical SEC team. Hopefully we're well on our way with these recruiting classes, but time will tell.
