I think it's gonna be very important for us to establish the vertical passing game early and really depend on that for most of the day.

I'm just glad that we've been taking shots. Holloway and Ross should've hauled those balls in yesterday. If it's DWill, I just don't see us taking many shots deep.

FWIW, this year's scenario is the exact same as last year, except with switched roles.

Ole miss is 7-5, looking to go to a better bowl, and is the away team.

State is 5-6, looking to win to go to a bowl.

If Mullen pulls this off I will be absolutely shocked. It will actually make me doubt freezes abilities.

I wouldn't be so sure of that though. Did you think you would plaster billboards everywhere in 09?

Probably so

If we stormed the field, id be furious.

As far as the billboards, there's no way for me to know what the marketing people are up to. I'm sure they regret all that now.

May JRob forever feast on your tears. I can smell your fear from here.

From what I've read DWill has more Henig (frick it I'm going deep) in him than Dak or Russell. So that should get interesting.

To be honest, on offense, we have to somehow get Jameon involved in the offense again. And when I say involved, I mean LSU game involved. Not one pass and rush, but several touches per drive.

Why? Ole Miss has defended this pretty well since the Vandy game

That would qualify as a pretty good reason to establish it then, wouldn't it?

I wouldn't waste time. We leave the underneath middle wide open and your passing game has had some success doing that this year.

True. Also, both teams have been struggling with drops as well, so whomever tightens that up in what will probably be terrible weather will be a turning point.

I hope Josh Robinson gets the majority of our carries, but that'll never happen.. Thanks dan

That's a solid post but here's the real reason State wins on Saturday
