Does this epic Iron Bowl make LSU fans want an in-state rival

That's actually a household name in cfb. SouthCarolina has a top ten battle against Clemson. Mississippi has MSU. Texas AM has Texas (whenever they decide to re-up) Arkansas. Missouri...well blah

Seeing that they are the flagship university in talent rich louisiana why the heck are they not competing for championships every year is mind boggling. LSU should be historically on the level of Tennessee /Bama but lag behind with UGA/Auburn

We seem to have hyped or "epic" games EVERY YEAR against against OOS programs. How "epic" was the Iron Bowl the past 2 years? About as epic as the UF-FSU game and the Ohio State-Michigan games are this week.
