I am getting soft because 30 degrees and I froze my arse off even with layers and layers of whiskey.

I was on the other side of the field where the Mizzou fans were. I think I saw maybe a 100 black and gold on the side I was on.

Every time we got a good play on offense I would stand up and yell " Hold on to the ball Hold onto the ball" finally an Ole Miss fan turned around and asked why I said that every time. I told him as fans we have been kicked in the crotch without a cup too many times by this team. Another Ole Miss fan said "We feel your pain brother We feel your pain"

The Grove was rocking even with the cold weather. A must trip if you are a Mizzou fan. And Knoxville and Nashville

Sounds fricking awesome. How was the Mizzou crowd? By all accounts, was a big crowd. Could hear the M I Z a couple times unless my ears were playing tricks on me. Gotta pass along some Grove stories or suggestions. Glad ya had a good time man and even happier you brought home a win.

12-15,000 strong. When we stopped them after the TD was reversed with 8 minutes left it started to clear out quickly. Every first down 5-10 % of the crowd that was still there would leave.

I was at the town square from 1 pm to 5 pm. A lot of Mizzou fans down there. Ajax had some good red beans and rice. Was drinking at a nice Restaurant bar called Boreau or something like that. The drinks were strong and cheap.

One cool story: I waited to the end of the game to let the crowd die down and as I was walking out I walked by the elevators the coaches use to get to the coaches box or whatever you call it. The Mizzou coaches were getting off the elevator and I yelled " great game coaches. Especially finishing the game out" Henson and Washington looked right at me and had a big smile on their face. That was cool. Henson is a big dude..

We stayed at Harrah's in Tunica. It was full of Tiger fans--everyone wearing their black and gold. It was really great. Going down on I-55 Friday the highway was lined with vehicles with Tiger Tails!! It was really cold at the game but worth the pain to see us play a good game. The last drive down the field cleared out all the Ole Miss fans that were left and the stadium belonged to the Tigers!!
GO TIGERS--BEAT A&M!!!!

I live in Collierville which is a suburb of Memphis. It is a 70 minutes trip on winding roads but easy to drive.

When I go to Tunica and stay the night I go to The Horseshoe. Higher quality of employees and guest. Hollywood is good to for anyone going to make a trip down here next time.

Once we get in the West division Oxford has to be a must road trip for Mizzou fans

It's more to do with not fricking up recruiting progress by not playing in Florida and Georgia. The fact that a couple teams are on a bit of a slide doesn't hurt either.

Well that's kinda what I meant by that ... recruiting bonuses and slightly easier schedule.

I will have to say though y'all need to come home to the west very soon. Y'all know this is where you belong.

We rented a house in downtown Oxford, walking distance to the stadium.

Terrific town, lot of friendly people wishing us a good time. The Grove was fun, I enjoyed it greatly. Well worth the visit when we go again in 15ish years. Their town square is pretty darn cool. Friday night the restaurants and bars were half full of Mizzou fans.

We saw a few house's that my friend said were rental houses for games. Very nice. What do they run for?

We negotiated with them and got it for $300 per couple or $150 per night. It was a nice house and a very reasonable rate.

You got lucky. Last year when Texas came people were renting places out for as high as 7000 for the weekend
