My bro is gonna have a herd of kids in his RV for the weekend. I can stay there, but it would be akin to trying to sleep at a daycare. It isn't gonna happen.

What are my options hotel wise? I'd rather not have to spend $600 for the weekend just to sleep somewhere. Would I be better off in Montgomery or possibly Columbus?

Tallassee has a shitty little motel you could stay in across from Hardee's and Walmart. Cheap, and much closer than anything in Montgomery. Just try not to die.

My sister and brother in law stay in Columbus. Not bad drive and pricing is much better.

Trust me, I've stayed in worse in my hunting and fishing trips.

There's a Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn Express in Valley that might not be booked up. Closer to the Georgia state line on 85. Only about thirty minutes from Auburn.

ENO hammock, heavy-duty cold weather sleeping bag, and a couple of really warm blankets. You'll be good to go.
