I'd like to see Johnny Football in a Gus Malzahn offense

Not bad for riding the bench behind AJ.

Our coaches would have told him not to run in fear that he'd hurt himself. They would then try to develop him into a pocket passer and fail miserably.

Would not survive. Different type of running QB. Gus needs a QB with a little size on him because they love to run even the QB between the tackles. Yes they run on the outside too, I'm not sayings up the middle is all they do, but the whole reason that offense works is because of the pressure it puts on the defense to cover literally every gap on the field, inside and out. Manziel is too small to put it in the middle consistently. The big hob-goblins would keep him on the training table until his career finally ended with a horrifying injury putting his ankle against the back of his neck or something.

Saban would have kicked him off the team.

It would be interesting to see him in Oregon's offense. They would win the PAC 12 every single year with JFF I bet. But would still get annihilated in a BCSCG against a physical SEC team in the trenches.
