Does it piss you off how many little kids, women, friends of fans etc... will be attending this game having no idea what is going on/not caring what is going on/sitting on their hands etc..?

For example the 13ish year old kid beside me on Saturday dressed in neutraly colors and who sat completely expressionless for 4 straight hours on Saturday, even after the play, and his grandpa mentioned how he will be back for the Iron Bowl.

Drives me nuts

Not really. It pisses me off that gumps bought AU season tickets, and will be well represented in JHS.

Dude, ever had a 13 year old kid? I seriously considered white slavery for both of mine at that age. Kid probably got made to to the game when he would rather be at home with his friends playing Xbox and looking at Internet porn.

That's why people like me need to be in there to overshadow them.

I took my 4 yr old son to the game Saturday and I have to admit I think it was a little too much for him. There were times were he was very disinterested in the game, but I was proud of him because he would cheer and have fun for the most part. Till the end at least.

Do you want to know the messed up part of this situation? I can always get face value tickets when the game is in Tuscaloosa.

Hijack: How will student tickets work when I am at AU next fall? I'll be a junior, so does that give me seniority for tickets, or is it time at AU only? What is the allotment for the common student?

This doesn't make me feel any better about the situation.

it goes by credit hours.

basically, more credit hours = earlier chance to buy. has nothing to do with where you get to sit

So I'll have right at 80 credit hours, and the wife will be in graduate school. Good shape? Thanks

Time at AU. Honestly it is worth taking a single summer class in early June just to order a day early and have them guaranteed

You'll be buying day before the freshmen.. more than likely you'll get a mini season but 9 hours gives you a very very slim chance you get a full (like 10% chance).

I got full season my freshman year. That was only two years ago.

On another subject, do we know if they sent the email to those who won the SEC Championship game yet?

Coming off the 8-5 year? I'd have to believe demand will be really high next year much like 2011 when I first ordered and wound up with nothing at all b/c we were coming off of that title.

It's hard to predict what happens

My freshman year was right after 2010. It shouldn't be that big of a difference.
