28.3 points a game down to 22.0...23% improvement.

Bama should be closer to 38. Probably won't be enough.

I think the defense has improved in the red zone compared to last year.

The defense has also gotten more interceptions than last year.

We still have some improving to do as far as tackling, but overall, this defense is better than last year.

I think Bama could drop 49 on us, but I would be surprised if they do. AU has a chance to win the Iron Bowl this season. I think we can hold Bama to 28 points.

Our points allowed and red zone defense are much improved. Also forcing Turnovers is way up.

The offense is vastly improve. Last year vs UGA we did not score. This year we got 43

The biggest stat is from 3-9 to 10-1.

Stats are for losers.

So you expect AU to score more than 42 on Bama's Defense?

Everything in this game points to an Alabama win. I'm preparing for a tight one though.

I expect us to score more points than bama does.

End discussion.

They've improved as much as they can while being inept in the middle of the field.

Up until two weeks ago, I would have said a lot. Our guys had given up yards but not a lot of points, which is all that matters. The last two weeks there has been regression, IMO. I am hoping that is just from fatigue. The week off will help in a lot of ways, IMO.

Most people are talking about the Gus Offense vs the Saban defense, but I think the Bama O vs AU D is going to be the key matchup of the game.

Yeah, the bye was much needed. 7 games since the last one, 5 of those SEC. Guys had to have been gassed.

The bye week should help, Ellis Johnson knows how to shut down Saban. I anxiously await your wrong prediction as well.
