A serious one at that.
What have y'all been hearing about Dak?
I heard that it's a possible nerve injury, can't remember the name, but it's a very serious injury at that ... one that could be season or even possibly career ending if not addressed properly.
I ask because rivalry thrown out the door, I hate to see anyone go through such an injury that could possibly be career ending. I hope all is well and that isn't the case, because as much as I would like to win the Egg; I'd rather play y'all with a healthy Dak than to see him suffer with a serious injury as such.
Thanks so much for any info given, and if any of you know him pass my best wishes from to him and let him know even many of us from ReBearnation are praying for a quick recovery and a quick return for him to play the sport he loves.

It's a stinger or a pinched nerve.
I am not really sure where the nerve damage part is coming from. He's had an MRI, so I am guessing if it was severe enough to warrant surgery..he would be having surgery.

I heard he was having to have surgery and from what I heard the doctor that was talking about the surgery was saying it was a very complicated procedure.
If I remember correctly what was being said was his injury didn't just involve one separate nerve that needed work but it actually was in an area that there was many nerves together and they were all affected. It's because of this detail that makes the injury so serious and the surgery so complicated.
Yet again I hope all is well and I am dead wrong but any clarification on the matter would be appreciated.

Just kind of sounds like something you read off a message board post or 3rd hand information from someone.
Right now they are reporting a stinger in his left arm.

That show Almost Human is based on Dak.
I guess I just don't understand that if the surgery is as severe and complicated as McRebel says, what would be the point of putting it off?

Could be waiting on a 2nd opinion.
But likely he just has a sore elbow and is saving all of his mojo for the Egg Bowl where he will grind up and down the field ala Relf.

In the offseason his turf toe was so bad we amputated his leg. We will now do the same with both arms to be safe. The only human thing left on Dak is his heart. Or is it?...

That's why I am asking y'all ... I wanted to check with the less delusional state fans.
I sometimes wonder about him, he seems to me like one of the State fans that might belong to the EliteDawgs poster base so I always take what he says with a grain of salt.
(FYI He's married into the family, thank god)
But given the situation of what I heard and the lack of any real info coming out of Starkvegas I thought I'd ask here to get some legitimate responses about Dak's condition & health.
