I could tell you but then I'd be committing suicide.

One could also argue all of Ole Miss's injuries on defense made it difficult for LSU to prepare for the replacements due to lack of available video footage

Sig dibs

Also, LSU is probably talented a enough to be around #5, but I think at this point in the year they've likely thrown in the towel and will ultimately end up around 7-8

I'm not arguing that, LSU shite the bed against Ole Miss and was beat. It was close but LSU had to fight their way back into the game.

If LSU loses to A&M at home, I'll put them at #8 myself.

It just seems silly to drop LSU to #8 and move A&M to #4 when they both have bye weeks. LSU has just as much as to play for as A&M at this point.

5-8 really is just a wash though

Depends on the outcome of other games and how Ole Miss won. Probably somewhere around 4-6.

I think I was confused about what you meant by east-west issues.

An argument could be made that 5-8 could go in any order.

....and people forget there isn't a concrete wall between each individual team. There appears to be a gap between bottom 5 (10-14), then Vandy then 6-8, then 3-5, etc.

OM/Mizzou and LSU/A&M are the biggest SEC games this weekend. Will go a long way in type of bowl invite and Mizzou has ATL on the line.

Considering LSU blew out Auburn...

LSU didn't even cover the spread... to anyone who watched the entire 60 minutes, it was anything but a blowout.

Irrelevant

LSU had a three score lead on Auburn for much of the game. 21-0 at halftime. 35-14 late in the fourth. Blown out.

Why does Auburn have a red arrow pointing down (even though I know they were never #1 on the list)? Auburn played bad for one quarter, where as Alabama played bad for almost the entire game. Shouldn't both have gotten the same consideration?

IMO, yes, they both should have.

I think it is great because it adds color and graphics. Where the other poster might be confused is the proximity to the total votes which looks like the move was several hundred. Perhaps a visual fix would be :

Rank (FPV) Points (LW) Change* Team HV LV Comment

*where change is difference (number) next to up or down (graphic) arrow.
