Is everyone afraid of Auburn? I'm not. Look at the stats from MSNBC:

Offense (FBS Rank)
Yards: 5499 (5)
Passing Yards: 1976 (89)
Rushing Yards: 3523 (1)
Points per game: 39.0 (15)
Yards per game: 499.9 (14)
Touchdowns: 52 (9)
Field Goals: 13 (36)

89th in passing. THEY CAN'T PASS.

Defense (FBS Rank)
Yards: 4476 (89)
Passing Yards: 2791 (107)
Rushing Yards: 1685 (59)
Points per game: 22.0 (23)
Yards per game: 406.9 (67)
Touchdowns: 27 (32)
Field Goals: 16 (108)

Their defense is 107th against passing and 59th against the run. How do you spell P-o-r-o-u-s S-i-e-v-e? With BAMA's defense against the run they got nothing left.

We match up very well with them.

I don't think anybody is afraid of them.

Their crowd and false confidence might keep them in it for a while though.

The one thing that worries me about Auburn is their uncanny ability to pull games out of their arse. Hope it's not a close game because if it is they may pull it out.

I think it'll be a lot like the a&m game without the late scores in the fourth. They could take an early lead due to emotion/crowd, but in the end our talent and depth will prevail.

Bama wins by 2 or 3 touchdowns

The noise may affect our offense early on but our defense always plays better away.

I feel that Gus may pull some crazy trick plays out the back of his playbook, especially early on. Special teams needs to be wary of fake FGs/punts too.

I agree that they may come out fast, and that we'll pull away towards the end.

If they score at any point while it is a close game they should also be ready for a surprise onsides kick.

The entire first half against Georgia I was floored at how many big plays Auburn had that were the result of UGA missing tackles. Bama doesn't miss many tackles. If they wrap up and our secondary stays with their assignments and doesn't bite on play action/misdirection I expect it to be a comfortable win. Not like 49-0, but similar to LSU. Close for a half, and pull away in the 4th quarter.

my thoughts exactly. Georgia played like shite, which is typical of Georgia. but Bama wont play like that. Moseley and Collins have been absolutely outstanding with their open field tackling. Depreist has looked great the last few games, and our DLine has been solid.

Belue and Cyrus J or whoever is out there on the edge will have to do a good job of tackling. I'm not sure any of those guys are on the level of Javy Arenas, Kareem Jackson, Dre K, or Dee Milliner, in terms of their tackling ability. But they are going to have to be physical in the IB.

I'm not really worried about the D. Auburn will score, but we should be able to hold them to a reasonable amount of points. The offense needs to come out clicking on all cylinders though.

I just find it funny how so many people are in awe of Auburn winning at the end of the game against an opponent that isn't ranked with nothing short of dumb luck in a home game; yet Alabama is considered to have struggled against an unranked opponent at the opponents home field with cow bells still ringing and yet Alabama actually was always in the lead.

The biggest factor I'm excited about is the game being away. Alabama has some really good mojo going on the road lately.

Yeah, by every measurable they are somewhat of a fraud, they've run well above expectation and should have 3-4 losses easy.

On paper we should disect them.

However in a one time game anything can happen. Turn it over 4 times like you did against MSU and it'll be pretty tough to find a win.
