Yep. My answer was only because of that game. It had nothing to do with the fact they lost to Kentucky the next week, suffered the largest defeat in SECCG history, and ended the year with a loss to Florida State.

lol. I was just giving you a hard time. That team had Garcia and was clearly the most inconsistent Carolina team ever because of that fact. But they were pretty good until Garcia started going down hill. I know the SECCG got ugly but they were only a couple of plays away from beating that same Auburn on their field. I think the worst team was the 2007 Tenneesse team.

Tell me about it. The one game where he starts 9/9 with 3 TDs

SC beat Bama 35-21 but followed that up with a loss to 6-7 Kentucky and was blown out at home vs. Arky 41-20.

And got blown out by Auburn.

This game literally didn't matter in the SEC race. Lattimore got like 9 carries.

In the game that mattered the following week @UF he got close to 40 and had 202 yards and 3 TDs iirc

2007 Tennessee and 2010 S. Carolina were both average at best. This year's east champion might be worse than both though.

2007 was just a weak year in college football in general which is the only reason why UT was ranked that high.

I would rank them (from weakest to strongest)
1. UT 2007
2. UGA 2011 (didn't beat a single ranked team)
3. USCe 2010

it's popular to rip on the east this year, but if Mizzou wins the East they'll be top 6 or so, at 11-1 and if USCe wins it they'll probably be top 10ish at 10-2. Either of those would be better than several of the years listed upthread.

If Tennessee had lost to Georgia, Fulmer would have been fired a year earlier.

And UGA would’ve more than likely played for the BCS title.

We were 10-2 going into the game with our only losses to a good SC team by 3 and a Boise team ranked in the top 7, both in the first 2 games of the year.

No way that team is weaker than 2007 tennessee.
