Gus is the real deal. I have been watching football a long time, and I absolutely love the Auburn offense. I think it will take other teams at least three years to catch up. God help the West if he finds a real dual-threat quarterback.

This is not to say that Bama won't win in two weeks. The Tide's second team would probably have an even record in SEC play and Saban knows, of course, how to use this talent.

Now to Auburn's defense. Mark my words, it will eventually have to cough up the coin to replace Johnson. Too many 3rd-down conversions. And Ellis does not delegate well. He has been run off from the Citadel and he and Spurrier did not get along, according to well-place rumors. In short, Johnson does not know his limits and it will eventually bite the Barn in the azz.

I am really looking forward to the Iron Bowl and would not touch it even for a dollar and quarter.
