How is this game going to play out? The Vols don't play well away from home, but I still think this will be a close game.

The game is in Neyland which helps, but I do not have a good feeling about it. However, they did play their best game of the year coming off the bye week when they played USCe.

Seriously? This is a football discussion? Involving Vandy and UT?

I think Vandy can pull it out.

I want vandy to complete the tri-fecta:
UF [Check]
UGA [Check]
Vols

UT wins. Vandy has been +8 turnover margin the last two games which is why they've won despite playing poorly on offense both games. If UT holds on to the ball I say they win a close one.

This is a huge game for Butch Jones, imo... getting blown out by top 10 teams shouldn't worry anyone, but he really needs to beat Vandy at home... not only to get to a bowl game, but to give people a glimmer of hope that he's actually a better "coach" than their previous two bozos.

UT is at home and coming off a bye week... Vandy is a pretty mediocre football team... imo, these two are evenly matched... if Franklin outcoaches another UT coach yet again, then that would speak voumens of Jones's ability on gamedays.

Okay, serious answer, I must admit, I would think it was cool if they pulled off the trifecta.

Dores!

Should be a close game. Vandy is going to have to play better than they did on Saturday to win in Neyland. UT and their fans are going to be hyped for this one. UT fans would never admit it but, given how their season has gone, this game against Vandy might be their biggest game of the season.

Officials will try everything in their power to help tennessee win, Vandy probably will overcome UTn and refs by a slight margin.

Speaking from experience, it's a lot of fun.

It might be.

If Vandy gets the hat trick I would be so happy.
I really like what Franklin is doing, hard not to like him.

IMO, it is... i know the USCe game will be their best win, but this game is critical... they've been outcoached the last two years against Vandy and were fortunate to escape two years ago. It's an opportunity to put them back in their place.

I'll admit it, as sad as it is to say as a Tennessee fan but that's the current state of UT football. Butch absolutely has to win this game or some doubters will definitely show up.

My goals for Butch at the beginning of the season were
1. Make a bowl 2. Beat someone we weren't supposed to
3. Land a great recruiting class

If we can win out, that definitely gives Tennessee some good momentum headed towards NSD and next season.

would be huge for Vandy to knock off the three traditional powers of the East in the same year. Think this is going to be a great, back and forth game with plenty of attitude. If this game were anywhere else but Neyland, I would say the Dores win but Neyland at night is gonna be tough.

All are reasons why I believe Tennessee wins this game.

I didn't realize Carta-Samuels was back.

Vandy rolls. How can you question it?
