I am not a homer and am normally even pessimistic regarding Bama, but I am completely confident that we will beat Auburn by atleast 14 points. Alabama looked terrible last night and that was the best thing that could happen. It will bring them back down to earth after the big win vs. LSU. Auburn is an interesting team. They have speed, talent, and a unique offense, but they are still not very good. The key from last night is not that Auburn won, but rather that they blew a 20 point lead and let a very mediocre Georgia team almost beat them at home. The Iron Bowl will serve as a rude awakening to the AU nation.

Well I like the idea. I don't think you'll make many frands here, however.

None of that matters once the teams take the field. This will be a dogfight.

UA should win. We're a gritty team, with a lot of fight, but are still a few pieces short of making a real run for a title. Gus is just coaching his arse off. I'll be jacked for a sugar bowl.

Auburn is legit. They are playing to the potential they had last year all along, which is connected to 2010.
I for one see an epic matchup coming. And since Auburn has God on their side, well...

Gus Malzahn will have tricks up his sleeve. This is practically the first-round of a semifinal for the BCS title.

Well first, this is entirely possible. I don't think you will find many Auburn fans that are pissed off at your prediction...hell, you basically just regurgitated the Vegas line.
However, your rationale is irrationale. You say that Bama's poor play is good because it will bring them back down to Earth but Auburn's poor play is bad because...it exposes something? I'm sorry, please explain again why Bama plays poorly, yet wins, is good for Bama, yet Auburn playing poorly and winning is bad for Auburn?

Obviously the gameplan will be for Bama to pound the ball and to shut down AU's run and make Marshall pass. Was probably the plan UGA was going to use, but their shitty 1st quarter took them out of it.

Auburn has nothing to lose in this game. Will be record crowd in Auburn that day. The atmosphere will be very close to that of 1989.

My rationale would be irrational if I were discussing anything other than college football. If you've ever watched much of it, you would understand what I am talking about.

Your rationale is premised on the rationality of 18-22 year olds. Let that sink in.

Sounds legit, Cletus.

I think it'll be more than 14.

Your logic is irrelevant.
Yesterday's game is clear evidence God is an Auburn fan and under His divine protection.
