First of all, congrats to Auburn on the miracle win today in Jordan-Hare. WOW! UGA certainly got paid back for what Horace Willis gave up in 2002 to Michael Johnson. Again Congrats, and good luck against Bama.

Secondly, and I know this will get a huge backlash; but it is quite apparent that FSU is currently playing the best football in the country. Bama has got to get a handle on the turnovers or a good team will capitalize on each and every one. Conference affiliation and allegiances aside, FSU is just ripping out the spine of every team, showing it to them, and asking if they want some more. Winston is the real deal, and I think he will be the Hiesman winner barring injury or a loss to UF. (which doesn't seem likely) Now, if Bama makes it to the National Championship game, and Saban has a month to prepare; yes, I and many others will give Bama the benefit of the doubt. However, if they play like they did tonight, they may not get that chance.

Anyway, good luck the rest of the way to the contenders, but for my part-I will always be saying Go Dawgs

ETA:Sorry for the double post from the Scoreboard, but thought these posts would be good on the Rant as well.

Also, would like to add; I know that this is an unpopular sentiment among UGA fans- but I am happy for Nick Marshall to be doing well. He made a HUGE mistake, learned from it, and made the absolute best of his situation.

In addition, Grantham will be back at UGA next year and the defense will be MUCH better off for the experiences that they have endured this year.

Whatever dude, face it you are irrelevant now and your program will not be relevant next year either once Murray is gone! Enjoy your great bowl game.

So it is safe to assume you, and the rest of the Auburn fanbase had a wealth of pride; and the foresight to know that after last season you all knew this was going to happen for AU this year?

They look real good, that is for sure. Winston is just on another level right now.

We knew who was responsible for our Natty and it wasn't just Cam. Realistically we expected 8 wins this year and at least 10 next year. He will be a great coach for a long time and I sincerely hope you guys eventually get a legend. It makes the DSOR GREAT

Understood. But that is a far cry from looking into a crystal ball and saying UGA will be irrelevant next year. You, nor I have any idea who will be relevant next year and who won't. After FSU lost nearly all of its entire staff the same misgivings were being bantered about, yet here they sit; ready for a possible National Title game berth.

Oh, I know. Just doing some rustling.

I like Richt, I really do. But he is tired and you can tell this year has REALLY taken a TOLL on him. You can see it all over him.

I figured.

As far as Richt is concerned, he may be looking to wind it down; but he sure has plenty of material at his disposal for motivation going into 2014. I think he has (maybe) a few good years left in them old bones.
