Better Defense, Auburn or UGA? k about how bad Georgia's defense sucks, and how Gus is gonna put the nail inh bet Grantham's coffin, I put it before you, whose defense is better? I say UGA will control Auburn much better than Auburn will control an almost fully healthy UGA offense.

What say you?

Go.

Should the word "better" be used in this case?

Depends on what day it is. I say they are almost equal. We may be a little better.

I'd say Auburn's defense may have the edge on overall defense, but their offensive strength is the run - if ya'll can contain Mason and force them to throw it, you'll have a good shot. Your offense is much more balanced, and that may give them problems.

I haven't watched Georgia defense very much. They do seem to give up a lot of points.....

Eh I feel we match up poorly vs a pro-style like UGA, but well against a spread. I honestly don't know much about UGA's defense

If Gurley gets past the DL, Therezie might be the only guy that can tackle him 1 on 1.

Gurley will go for 180. It's just a matter of whether we keep him to 2 scores. He gets 2, Murray gets 2 and I still like our chances of putting up at least 35. Special Teams will be huge.

Still missing Marshall, JSW, Mitchell and Gurley is still nowhere close to 100%. All those guys back, we can score with anybody. We're still a shell of our former selves on offense as of right now. Granted, we are getting a few guys back that will help this week and Gurley is getting better, day-by-day.

I still HATE our D and hope Grantham gets a foot in his arse at season's end.

Neither are particularly scary. The strength of both teams is the offense, and both are very good when healthy. I doubt this will be a defensive struggle.

UGA has given up 30 or more points in 6 out of their 9 games.

AU only twice (one was to the 4th best offense in the country).

AU D >>> UGA D
