Well most of those subdivisions were started by individuals..the large corporations had the money and resources to make these small companies successful on a national scale much quicker..so they buy up majority stock in the company and grow it really fast. The original owner usually gets paid millions and still receives dividends from sales.

I know of a guy who makes "hoover sauce" here in the MS Delta that is widely popular as a chicken wing sauce and marinade..Kraft offered him 25 million and he turned it down (like an idiot)

It's not even a little bit frightening that only a few corporations are responsible for everything that effects society?

Every bit of news, entertainment, everything.. comes from just a few sources. That should at the very least be alarming.
